Barbara Bova

                  our founder and first literary agent of BBLA, who passed away in 2009, was also a talented author and columnist.

An aide to a United States Senator, a school teacher, a social worker, an artist, a successful New York model, a philanthropist, an advocate for social and environmental issues, she was also mother of three and a loving grandmother. 

Her mission to promote the best and most talented professional writers of fiction and nonfiction, continues...

                    our president since 2009, passed away in 2020.

He was 88 years old.  

Dr. Bova was the author of more than 200 works of science fact and fiction, including short stories, essays, newspaper articles, non-fiction works and novels. He was the six-time winner of the prestigious Hugo Award, the editor of Analog Magazine, and the editorial director of Omni Magazine. He was president of the National Space Society and the Science Fiction Writers of America.
